Meals on Wheels Product Recall

Charity organisation, Meals on Wheels (SA) has today issued a media statement in which they have outlined they are undertaking an urgent product recall of frozen meals after the discovery of listeria monocytogens in a roast lamb and vegetable meal.
Meals on Wheels (SA) has said they will be contacting all their customers directly to request they do not consume any frozen meals currently in their fridge or freezer. They are currently working with SA Health to determine the source of the contamination.
If you know of anyone who receives Meals on Wheels, we encourage you to pass this information on. Should symptoms of listeriosis develop, please seek prompt medical attention.
